When at idle the coolant goes to over heating rather fast but when I rev it up it cools down just as fast. many help would be much appreciated

When using the artec tone rings for a jl 1 ton swap, when putting the speed sensors on the rear am I supposed to use the same sensors the work in The front which is off a dodge 2500? I just don’t know if those sensors will reach the tone ring.
