  1. 2.0 Coolant Reservoir Replacement

I missed this reply for some reason. It’s a legitimate concern. I sent them an email to see if Fluorosilicone (FVMQ) or Oat-resistant polymers were used on the inner liner to drastically reduce this, supposedly.
  2. Asfir 4x4 2.0T engine skid, help?

Maybe something changed on the Jeep. Iirc, these mount up by or in the motor mounts right? Some angles may have changed up there. I’d look but I don’t have that Jeep anymore. My 19 4dr 2.0 was pretty straight forward.
  3. A brand new 280Z or '67 Mustang body? Brand new?

It’s been so long I can’t remember the name of the business that was offering these bodies back then. I might be off on the price too but it was up there.
  4. A brand new 280Z or '67 Mustang body? Brand new?

This started in the 90’s. ā€˜69 Camaro and ā€˜67 Mustang were first iirc. I guess that faded away. I think it was 15k for a body back then.
  5. Made some oil separator cover with 6061 aluminum

Didn’t know that. Must be good. All I’ve used the last 30 years before was off-the-shelf Permatex Right Stuff. It’s pretty good for stubborn leak areas, always worked for me but it didn’t test as well as that one.
  6. Made some oil separator cover with 6061 aluminum

Farm Project on YT tested some. The factory Mopar RTV tested best. It’s called Three Bond but not in the packaging or in the parts catalogs from what I’ve seen. That’s what I’ve ordered and received for my 3.6. Pretty cool separator there. You made it?
  7. Info on Manual to Auto swap

I wonder if AMW could/would give any insight?
  8. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Prepping to put the new head studs and heads on the 3.6, I was a little concerned about not messing up this great cylinder head deck surface after BES Racing did a .003ā€ cleanup pass on them. 12.5 RA finish! It can be a little difficult to lean over the fenders, look down the head bolt holes...
  9. Cleaning the engine bay help before F something up.

They still call them weatherpacks these days? Anyway, yeah I pressure wash but stay a few feet away and haven’t had issues. Same for the radiator, gotta be careful with the fins there. If you think it’ll help, especially if you go though mud, pieces of dead leaves, etc it’s not a bad idea to...
  10. Hi-Lift Jack Mount advice

Didn’t Aussies come up with those? Does it even snow down under?
  11. Hi-Lift Jack Mount advice

I have a pair I mount inside the jeep up on the roof and inside a dedicated bag. I forget they’re there.
  12. A storage lock conundrum

    Good one!šŸ˜„
  13. Service Manuals now live

https://www.alldata.com/diy-us/en/diy-repair-information I assume there’s a current discount code somewhere. I usually see it on a banner somewhere in the site.
  14. Bosch ICON OE - Unobtainable ?

J hook for the win. Easy swap with those so I don’t get why they would change it other than some Jeep supplier deal…
  15. Service Manuals now live

No problem and that’s a great deal!
  16. Service Manuals now live

I’m not clicking it. In case someone comes across this… Alldata DIY is legit and only $20 for a month for access to factory service manuals. I got 3 years for just over $100 last year during a special, which they run frequently.
  17. 3.6 or 2.0

Ya gotta appreciate that when you sit and it comes back out again, you don’t have to ask who did it.
  18. 3.6 or 2.0

    I feel that.
  19. I made a huge mistake

Their FB feed sure is active with them posting there. Maybe try there?
  20. 2026 Steering Box Changed?

19 had the issue. Was better with the cast steel steering gearbox TSB done. Went from 1/2 to maybe 1/4ā€ or less slop. My 21 feels completely different. Never had a complaint about it. Maybe it’s manufacturing tolerances to an extent?
