    2-1/2" RK X Factor (netted 3-1/2") w/ 37's
  2. Wheel Balancing. Weights vs Beads

Hate em, dumbest thing ever. I'll never allow them in my tires again. They have to rebalance everytime you take off from a stop, and if your in mid turn they can be lopsided and wobble the steering wheel until you get up to speed. I'll take stick ons thank you.
  3. 2dr storage

Love my Coleman cot! Makes tenting enjoyable the next morning.

  6. Why are all the 2 doors Rubicons?

Or Rubicon owners are more apt to boast about it and fill out a survey to boost their ego:CWL:
  7. The 2Dr Sport Only Thread

Wow, great this thread is still going! I looked back at my original post and then the update I posted last winter. https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/the-2dr-sport-only-thread.15647/page-18#post-973784 Surprising how your Jeep can evolve and not realize it. Very happy with the...
  8. DIY solution to mating a Falcon Nexus EF 2.2 to Synergy tie rod

No, there were no interference issues. Just the constant back and both movement of the tie rod was just enough to back the stud out. Like I said, I think it was my failed first attempt that messed it up. If it had been locked down properly from the get go I don't think there would have been a...
  9. DIY solution to mating a Falcon Nexus EF 2.2 to Synergy tie rod

I'm sure you'll be fine. I had to remove it this weekend and drove home over 250 miles with no issues. It just has a little more wiggle when hitting bridge expansion joints or rough patches on the highway. I think that says a lot for having a full Synergy steering setup.
  10. DIY solution to mating a Falcon Nexus EF 2.2 to Synergy tie rod

I will say, even with a the hiccups I'm very happy with the out come. I do like the quick adjust feature (vs the Fox that requires a screwdriver) and the fact that it's up out of the way. Have done quite a bit of wheeling with this setup and it would have gotten destroyed if left in the...
  11. DIY solution to mating a Falcon Nexus EF 2.2 to Synergy tie rod

Because it falls off lol I will say I think I neglected to use red the first time and it worked it's way out. That may have compromised the threads on the stud and even drilling and tapping a new hole may not have been enough grip if the threads on the stud were compromised. If you used the...
  12. DIY solution to mating a Falcon Nexus EF 2.2 to Synergy tie rod

Update - This mod isn't working out so well. For some reason I can't keep the stabilizer from loosening up from the bracket even with red locktite. My next attempt will be to weld the stud onto the Synergy bracket from the inside. It's not like it's going to void the warranty or anything...
  13. BIKINI Wrangler JL Club

Thank you for that, now I know I'm not crazy and my eyes aren't going bad.
  14. BIKINI Wrangler JL Club

So serious question. Does anyone have a picture that has a true representation of the Bikini color? I took a close look at one the other day and it was way more green, almost an emerald green, not the blue / aqua hue that shows in the pictures. It was a JLUS that looked new, didn't check for...
  15. DIY solution to mating a Falcon Nexus EF 2.2 to Synergy tie rod

Yes, that's the correct tap 9/16-24. Like I mentioned in my post, the main drawback to this mod is the tap cost me 40 bucks with tax and shipping! https://www.mcmaster.com/2595A851
  16. DIY solution to mating a Falcon Nexus EF 2.2 to Synergy tie rod

Can't you just loosen the clamp and rotate the stabilizer a bit for more clearance?
  17. Video of Jeep Factory preparing for Covid-19 Restart.

Wow, that video is awesome and sad at the same time.
  18. DIY solution to mating a Falcon Nexus EF 2.2 to Synergy tie rod

I did look into that and unless I missed something, the JK version is for a 1-5/8" tie rod where as the Synergy TR I have is 1-1/2" so the JK version wouldn't work either.
  19. Falcon Nexus Steering Stabilizer Relation?

Modified the Synergy bracket to mate with the Falcon Nexus 2.2 SS https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/diy-solution-to-mating-a-falcon-nexus-ef-2-2-to-synergy-tie-rod.51155/
  20. DIY solution to mating a Falcon Nexus EF 2.2 to Synergy tie rod

Important - read my update to this thread: https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/diy-solution-to-mating-a-falcon-nexus-ef-2-2-to-synergy-tie-rod.51155/post-1232452 I already had the Synergy tie rod and SS relocation kit with the stock stabilizer. I wanted an adjustable SS as the...
