I running the 93 octane tune without any issues as I run 93 all the time. Also had the same issue with cruise not working. Disconnected the ground for all batteries (main battery ground and ground that is on the passenger side fender)to reset everything and it started working again. I beleive...
I haven't had a chance to check 4L but I haven't had any issues with power in 4Lo. The issue I have with 4Lo is a surging when your basically just off idle crawling.
So far so good, normal daily driving seems much better for me. Feel like I am able to control acceleration much better. MGP is about 1-2 better but I think its because its holding 8th a bit longer. I have 37s with 4.88 gears and sometimes the trans would just stay in 7th. This is even after...
So far I would say the drivability is much better. Don't seem to have that lag of hardly moving to half throttle feeling. Throttle feels more controllable. Does feel like you have a good bit more at lower RPMs. Sure it will take a few tank fills before before everything settles in. Maybe 1 MPG...
Ya it's not cheap especially if you want to keep your stock ECU. I would send my back if I didn't have E Torque.
So I have ran I to an issue where my cruise control will not work. Only tried the 93 tune so will try another and put an email with tech support.
Edit:. Pulled all the negative...
Installed mine tonight, was pretty easy without any issues. Will see tomorrow if everything works as expected. I run 93 so will start with that flash and go from there. I'm just hoping the throttle is more predictable. Also hoping it's takes away the surging that happens sometimes in 4L.
If...
I would imagine that you have 3.45 gears. With a proper lift everything would handle 35" tires but you will notice a difference in acceleration due to the 3.45 gears. I am sure others have run 35" tires on the 3.45 gears and can give you more input. If you search the forum you will find a ton...
Still rock solid and have not had any issues. I would agree that the gaps by the hinges could use some kind of plugs. I don't think it would be to difficult to do. One thing I did but would not do now is powder coating. I would just use a rattle can on it so it's easier to touch up.
I am running 4.88 and it has been great both on and off road and stays in 8th when it should. Now if you ever plan to go with a lager tire down the road I would go with the 5.13. I'm not worried about it because if I go with anything larger than a 37" Dana 60s will be going in.
I didn't, the only place it's close is near the plastic cover around the coolant lines leading into the batteries. Also plan on installing the Artec skid plates. My only concern with that plate is the cross bar looks like it goes up right around where the muffler is. Added a couple of photos...
Does it sound like metal rattling around or a raspy sound? When you take it off try shaking it around to see if there is something loose. Atak is not something I would run on my daily driver. I have ran Atak, S-Type and touring on different vehicles and the Atak is too much for me. I liked...
If does feel a little more sporty. An exhaust and a CAI complement each other pretty well so the combo would definitely change the sound and feel vs just having one or the other.
