So I installed my set Saturday night, finished around 11:00 pm. Thought; what a perfect time to test these out. Drove around the block and then went to back into the driveway...”Holy Cow is that bright” I thought as I shifted into reverse, “oops, they’re gone, oh no, there they are, no they’re...
Sure...
for me (personally), not ever having had a car that’s done this before, it’s the “hollow feeling in the pit of my stomach” when suddenly and unexpectedly my vehicle dies while I’m waiting at a stop sign or red light.
yes, within seconds I remember “ Oh yeah, it’s that “stop-start”...
So...figured I’d give an update...
Since I’m familiar with the “Battery Tender” smart charger that I use on my ‘59 Apache over the winter, I went ahead and bought another one of those.
Ive been driving the JL the normal amount (for me) over the last couple weeks, but when I hooked it up...
So this whole automatic stop start, double battery issue is new to me, and this will be my first winter with the JL having bought it in June.
I live in Michigan, my wife is currently stationed in AZ, so during the winter I work remotely and spend two weeks each month in AZ, so the Jeep will be...
I’ve done a fair amount of searching, and could not find the answer to this specific question...
I got a pretty good deal on an OEM Rubicon steel bumper including the steel skid plate and factory LED fogs; going to do the swap this weekend.
My question is in regards to the LED fogs, mine’s an...
Thanks...yup, I’m aware of the need for the “Flash“ on the (LED) headlights, my understanding is the headlights will work fine without, but the “flash” recognizes the halos and makes those DRL’s. Working with my dealer to get the headlight kit as we speak.
I’m truly sorry if I’m asking a question that’s already been answered but I couldn’t find that it had.
I’d like to swap my stock incandescent taillights for OEM LED tailights, as it is my understanding that doing so is a simple “plug & play“ swap (no need to have anything “flashed” by the...
K...so I want to upgrade to LED’s on my JL Sahara but don’t want to take a chance with doing anything that might screw up my warranty, so it’s my understanding that a Factory LED upgrade “kit” is my best option.
several posts above is the following link...
So...after reading this thread, I’m curious.
I have a new (to me) ‘18 Sahara (12K miles and still 20+ months of warranty based on the in service date.
After doing research I was all ready to pull the trigger on a set of Oracle Oculus Bi-LED headlights, (Mine came without the Factory LED...
So did you use it to program your Jeep to remember your Auto Stop/Start preferences?
What do you use the Tazer for, and what is it about it that you like?
Those are all actions necessary (other than putting on a seatbelt) to actually drive the vehicle...so yes, they are required.
The Auto Stop/Start is not, in fact, one might argue that by giving the option of disabling the feature FCA is admitting that they know it’s a unpopular feature that...
To everyone that implies the best solution is to just push the disable button every time you start the Jeep, here’s an analogy of my perspective that maybe you’ll accept.
i have a radio in my Jeep. Imagine that the radio was designed so that every time you turned off the Jeep, the radio turned...
This is one (of two) that I’m looking at...i read the lengthy discussion regarding it and am leaning toward this one, but specifically am wondering about if there’s any warranty issues.
Right...I’m not stupid...read my post, I’m aware of it, rather, I’m specifically asking about aftermarket devices and how they might affect the warranty.
