You might want to place some heat shielding on below the storage compartment. My Borla on my 3.6 melted it a little (See Pic). Borla said that they were going to send me some shielding material back in August. Nothing from them yet, and I assume I won't hear from them again since I have...
I would think no (they are Dana 44s too). Other than a lower ratio and having the diff lock, I think they are the same axles. If you have a Rubicon Diesel, then you have the diff lock. I assume you do not. I would look to the aftermarket if you want/need lower ratios and diff-lock.
are they worth the money? Questionable, since I do not always use it, but it does what it says it does. If you are like me and not spending any money going out (COVID Life)and looking at some retail therapy, it's worth it. If spending $150-$300 makes you cringe, then pass on it.

Yes, I cut off the lighter plug. I did use the Quadratec 12 Volt Power adapter, it isn't really necessary, hate taping or cutting factory wires. Just did CoolTech tow harness install, so I'm over that now, I guess.
These are helpful threads if/when you get the light. I used info from both to install my light although I got a different model, the install is basically the same.

Thanks it took a bit of looking around to see what would be the most inconspicuous way to mount it. The angle on the breakaway isn't ideal since the hole for the jack is a bit lower, but I tested it with a good yank and it broke away.
Finally got around to put in my Cool Tech tow harness kit and Powerport. Thanks to the video some saint posted on Youtube
() it was an easy install. I also installed a RVI battery charger and wireless breakaway switch. I thought the hardest part was getting trim off to get to the wire. After...
My license plate fell off on a long road trip. I assumed that someone stole it, but after replacing it, I think the screws simply fell out. I put 4 screws in it now, but I too am looking for a new rear bumper. I will be getting an aluminum one. Most likely a Rock Hard. I know that...
