  1. Scumbag Alert!!!

As you stated, valuable lesson. Only buy local and in person. If you are concerned about the seller, meet at the police department. I sell a great deal of jeep parts. You can usually tell a scammer because they will keep pushing for an online transaction. I won't do it. I've also had someone...
  2. just ordered new wheels and tires! did I get right ones?

They probably got it right. Often when people order online themselves they make a mistake. You should be fine.
  3. Patriot Tires?

Originally then a Chinese company ripped off the pattern and name. The Diesel Brothers stopped making tires due to this and have have nothing to do with the current Patriots.
  4. just ordered new wheels and tires! did I get right ones?

That set up should get you right to where you want to be. Important question: did you select 5-127 as your bolt pattern?
  5. Any 37” duratrac equivalent for snow/ice

Remember, even the Duratrac in a 37x12.50 will perform much worse than a shorter and narrower Duratrac. The height and width cause the tires to float on the snow/ice/slush more.
  6. Any 37” duratrac equivalent for snow/ice

The Kanati Trail Hog have the same tread design as the Duratrac. They come in a 37x12.50r17.
  7. Help!!! Where are people ordering or buying their milestar Patagonia’s???

I've gotten them through Northridge 4x4, Discount Tire, and Walmart.
  8. JK Bumper on a JL?

I second this. However, I'd avoid ebay for the front bumper. The one I ordered did not fit. It wasn't even close. The top the the bumper extended too far back into the grill. The mounting points were about 3 inches away from the jeep mounts while hitting the grill.... Extreme Terrain has...
  9. Milestar Patagonia M/T 37s vs. 38s

I'm sure that is it. I drove mine home from Discount Tire after having the wheels/tires installed without reprogramming. I experienced exactly what you described. The Taser should help.
  10. Milestar Patagonia M/T 37s vs. 38s

Did you reprogram with a Taser? Once programmed, my jeep drives fine. This is a Rubicon with the 3.6 for reference.
  11. Milestar Patagonia M/T 37s vs. 38s

I did not have to regear. The only time that I feel a difference is driving 70MPH+. Not bad, but do notice it a bit. I rarely drive this fast, so not an issue for me. With the JK having less gears, a regear was much more necessary. You would feel it at every stage. With the JL, that is not the...
  12. Milestar Patagonia M/T 37s vs. 38s

I've have the Patagonia in both C (38s) and D (40s) rated. The C rated tire does ride nicer on road. The Patagonia is a road friendly tire. They are quiet and smooth. Both the 37 and 38 will fit fine with the Mopar lift. I currently have the 38s with Fuel Zephyr wheels (4.5 backspacing).
  13. 37” KO2 having a hard time in Canadian winter.

A few things that I have noticed: 1. The JL performs worse I winter than the JK did. 2. The added height and width with have a negative impact on winter handling. 3. If you have a high offset wheel, this will also negatively impact winter driving.
  14. Killer deal on 40" STT Pros

Interesting. Listed as clearance. I wonder if they are coming out with an STT Pro replacement.
  15. My 392 Rubicon order is showing a price now ($77k) !!!

Jeep pricing has really skyrocketed since the introduction of the JL. I've always wanted a V8 wrangler, but I feel like buying a used one at half price in two years is the way to go. However, if they end up sitting on dealership lots, there may be steals at the end of the year. Currently, my...
  16. SARGE GREEN Wrangler JL Club

The Mopar pens are very hit or miss. In my experience they haven't been a match.
  17. Premium Soft Top vs Regular: Worth the $ Difference?

I prefer the standard soft top over the "premium." Inbmy option it looks better. It is actually rather quiet and noticed no difference in heating and cooling bs a hard top.
  18. Starting Over

I still have a JL, just haven't really been on the forum this year. I wasn't planning to swap out this year, for the first time in many years, however trade in values are high right now so I may give it another go.
  19. Jeep Wouldn't Move

I'll probably drive it around a bit this weekend/week and see what happens. If I experience it again I'll take it in. I work from home so I'll have plenty of opportunities to test it out.
  20. Jeep Wouldn't Move

I don't believe I turned it off so the battery dying makes sense. I'll have to check this. Jeep only has 3,500 miles on it. Today is the one year anniversary of my picking it up.
