Awesome Rob thanks. We will reach a point here where we'll not break 15F for weeks at a time. Maybe the block heater isn't abs. necessary but I can't see it hurting anything. You? I was jus looking at the Mopar grill covers. It said don't put on when over 40F. That's not a worry here either.
Thanks Zouch and I promise to read the manual when my Willys is in hand, currenty waiting on an anuity pay out before I can officially shop.
Looks like you shouldn't plug in the block heater the night before either considering the 2 hour before plug in they suggest.
Thanks I'll def. Add one. Coldest ever where I'm sitting was -32F. That was in 1982. Lately we only reach -10 to -12 in mid January to mid February. So far we've hit 15F. Its cold that matters here for an engine booting up but for us humans it is the humidity and wind here that are more painful.
I'll look into that when the time comes.
In the meantime for 5 wheels/4 installed 1 spare my local dealer would want 1359 for the BFG KO2 285/70/17. They have a one day turn around. I just got off the phone with them.
Hutchman thanks! Double check me please for stock 2021 Willys. These will def. suit me.
DMC, Gio, both green and white look great.
In fact to me all the colors look great on the Willys.
Gio since you lifted would you happen to know if these tires will work on my Willys without lift or spacing-...
My mindset is the KO2 for everyday everywhere driving, but for deep winter (we get 3+ months of it here) a dedicated set of steel wheels and studded tires. In fact I'd put them on now and leave them on until mid-March then sub back to the KO2. For the studded I can see a skinnier...
I won't know for a month. Even if the size I asked about doesn't fit there is a KO2 that will. Our camper is front wheel drive (Promaster) and we've gotten into much that would have sunk us with the stock Continentals it came with, not so with the KO2. I'm a big fan....heck even the ride was better.
Thanks Gunner. Appreciated. I feel welcome already and hope to visit here a lot as I progress toward some minor mods (are new tires right off the bat a mod? haha!).
We (the wife and I) did a campervan build two years ago (still use it) and if bored-...
Hello Willys owners!
I'm new to Jeep, will be new to Willys/Wrangler/new to this forum....but I did post in the general thread where to post Willys specific topics.
