Hey Jeff. I got a 2020 JLUR here in Australia. 2.2L TD Rubicon with auto and all bells and whistles except luxury group. 6 months and 11.5k Kms (~7.5k miles) with no issues.
I'm stock, but added custom Rhino Rack roof rails, MaxTrax's, Mopar hitch, RedArc TowPro, Airbag Man airbags.
I...
Does anyone have rough weight and dimensions of the 2.5" kit with shocks and driveshaft? Looking at freight to Australia and need some ROUGH measurements.
Pity we are so nanny-stated here. I'm looking forward to a 2.5" lift and being able to upgrade my stock 32" to 33" and JUST be legal...
There are some great JL wiring diagrams on this forum, they also show where all the factory grounding locations are located...
Edit: I had it saved on my computer, but can't find it AND FOUND IT!!. So sorry for the vague info above, but once you find the wiring diagrams via search, they IT IS...
Aren't the new JL's can-bus style wiring? Not my expertise, but could this be different enough that you just can't feed them straight 12v if they are designed for the JL? Caused them to not work right off and having to wait before they came back on....
Just thinking out loud...

Do you resell Mopar warranties for Jeep’s sold in Australia?
My 2020 JLUR 2.2 TD has only a five year warranty, with so many electronics and the stop start on the diesel I would like an extended warranty.
Was only offered a third party warranty, but didn’t cover items I was interested in...
Not going into 4Low does not sound normal. Granted the Jeep is a hard manual shift into 4Low, but if you're in Neutral and on flat ground it should slip in flawless and STAY there during all wheeling. Have you checked to make sure something is not blocking the shift? trim? carpet? cables...
A few months ago I saw a report that Jeep had scored 11th on an initial vehicle quality survey, beating Toyota and Honda if memory serves... I scoffed at this a marketing BS. I got my JLUR in August and have 7000km on it in that time. To my surprise and shock, I have had not one issue with...
Interesting figures... I had a big trip in the first month of owning her... towing a 1200KG off-road trailer on mostly road and some off-road at the end of the trip.
Europe/Asia/Australia have a 2.2L TD available, which I’m very happy with. 2020 JLUR. Plenty of grunt, idles over most trails...
Europe/Asia/Australia do have a 2.2L TD available, which I’m very happy with. 2020 JLUR. Plenty of grunt, idle over most trails, tows 1000 kg trailer averaging 12.5L/100km on 4200km trip (roughly 15 on 2200 miles with trailer and roof storage pod)
Search my name for posts on this motor...
Mate,
Have a '20 Rubi 2.2L Diesel with BFG muddies here in Australia that I just picked up JUST 4 weeks ago. Already put 4166 km (and got 12.5L/100km with trailer and rooftop carrier - 2588 miles at 18.8 mpg) on her with the Jeep club at an offload park and a huge road trip into the outback...
answer on the air down question and why you do it:
Test: take two small sticks and shove them up tight against your fully inflated tires In the front and back of the same tire.
Now deflate your tire to say 20psi. Watch how the tire footprint expands and engulfs the sticks. Hence you now...
Maybe the dipshits in FCA have some profound research study (prob from Volvo) that people only buy muted colors in a depression. Im
Sure it’s some corporate prick that read a study somewhere! Should FORCE FCA to remove all Gladiator posters showing Punk’n (Super Bowl) Orange. False advertising...
Interesting fact... just got the new Australian model JLU Rubi with a 2.2L TD... so far I've NOT smelled the exhaust AT ALL! We are talking about starting up in the garage, hooking up the trailer with it running (feeling the hot exhaust on my leg but NO SMELL....) this has the AdBlue...
Anyone else had issues with mounting the antenna on the front bumper and then the forward collision avoidance SEES IT! and goes off when accelerating from lights, etc?! All this is "seen" from the front window, just under the rear view mirror....
Thoughts?

Absolutely sure it was locked... wheel would only move a degree or two before hitting the "lock". Soooo any work arounds would not go astray!
Thanks all,

Roll forward to 2020 JL Rubicon (Australian 2.2TD-8speed Auto)- my steering wheel DOES lock when the vehicle is off (push button starting), Rubicon with all the electric options.
So question and problem is what happens when you need to move and turn the steering wheel of the jeep without...
Guy's,
I know saving money is a good thing, but you are talking about stealing someone's product (digital or not). Consider your job, or anything you own in the digital world and now consider how you would like someone to take it from you for free...
Bit of respect for the publisher should...

Things in Australia are pricey because they are made here by well paid Australian workers, with most parts and supply chains of the best quality and also Australian made. They source the best equipment and fit out, with all those names you should...
