Don't let that discourage you. We were told 8-10 weeks, but yesterday we got news it is built and headed to dealer with an eta between yesterday and the 15th. Ordered 2/6, so a fairly quick build process for our JLURD.
Spoke with both Jeepchat and my dealer. Both said ours is built and in shipping stage. Jeepchat said estimated dealer arrival of 3/1-3/15. Considering today is the 1st, consider us quite happy.
We were one of those who had a build sheet show up a few hours after the window sticker.
They really are. They look like they are heavy beasts but being all aluminum they aren't bad at all.
I have a feeling progress may not be that quick on it, but I will most definitely update the thread as things get checked off the list.
Just picked up an M1102 trailer to modify into an overland/camping setup for the wife and I. This thing is gonna be fun, but its going to take quite a bit of time and some moolah to make happen.
2009 build that is in fantastic shape, looks as if it wasn't issued or if it was it saw little use...

Cold weather group
Led lighting group
Trailer tow and hd electrical group
Just check jeepchat again. All parts assembled ready...
For us, we will go with Clearplex on the OEM windshield. As much as I love the idea of a better windshield itself, at 10 times the cost of the windshield "ppf" I ain't biting so to say.
My wife isn't ok with the red dash, like at all. I'm on the fence and think it may grow on me. However the nice black leather with red stiched dash pieces can be had for $350 and the red dash panels regularly sell on the marketplace here for $175. Thats probably the route we will go with when...
The Falken M/T is optional, as is the white lettered OWL KO2, not sure I would really consider it an "upgrade" though as that entirely depends on use case. They are not 3 peak rated, like most MT's. We debated which to go with and ultimately decided on the "standard" BSW KO2 because of on road...
So when upgrading to the oem auto dimming mirror, is the 8.4" unit required? Or can it be made to function with the 7"?
Debating just going this route because I think it is an ideal setup for soft top jeeps. The C8 corvette's rear view camera has shown how much better a camera based rearview...
