Sorry to resurrect this old thread, but would the front still work? The rear I get as the suspension layout is different. But the front end geometry should be identical, correct?
Running 35" M/Ts on my Sport S and it has been just fine. Pretty heavy combo too, beadlocks and Trail Grapps. IMO, you'll probably feel some buyers remorse if you go smaller, especially since the Rubi suspension will give you a pretty sizable lift.
I saw that today when I logged onto the site. Went ahead and ordered the front and rear crusher series today. Hopefully they don’t take to long to get.
Nice!
By any chance, are you interested in parting out the Motobilt bumpers? Would be willing to do a trade with cash for my Rubi Steel Bumper and stock sport rear...... 😂
Based on your response, I think we both have a similar outlook. In the end, yes, I agree it is not optimal for some uses. But I think it is reasonable to argue that one should experience the stock ratio for themselves before jumping the gun and re-gearing.
Always get compliments on my Ocean Blue, guess it's not a common color around here. Would love to see something similar to GoMango or Plum Crazy from the Charger line up.
Never said it was IDEAL, but it gets up and goes decently well all things considered. I only occasionally see 8th on the highway and gas mileage has certainly taken a toll, but it's livable. Plenty of people are running Rubi's with 4.10's on 37's and 38's and haven't had an issue....so maybe...
IMO, no. I have a JLU Sport S on HEAVY 35" Nitto's and beadlocks with the 2.0 + auto trans, works fine with the 3.45's. Still plenty of get up and go. Like others have said, a Tazer seems like a good investment to correct shift points. Finally calibrating mine after a few months and I'm hopeful...
I've been incredibly happy with my Trail Grapplers. Granted, they are heavy, but they are wearing well for an M/T with softer compound and they look really clean / aggressive imo. Ride smooth as butter too with proper balancing and rotations. Just my input :CWL:
