  1. Would you be hesitant to buy a used 2020 JL that was a rental car?

Oh good grief. I'm in my 50's and not buying this Jeep.
  2. Would you be hesitant to buy a used 2020 JL that was a rental car?

And the point was taken. That story was what pushed me over the edge from being very hesitant to no longer having any interest in the vehicle. You truly have even less an idea how a rental was treated than a used car from a lot (which is almost none). I’m ordering new.
  3. Poll - 4 door visual preference? Naked or half doors?

Those half doors look amazing. I’m about to order a Gladiator and it’s SO hard keeping options down. And that choice was made partly because the prices were similar because I couldn’t uncheck the half door option in the Wrangler.
  4. Freedom edition?

    That's a beauty, congrats!
  5. JL Window Sticker and Build Sheet Order Tracking

Anyone know if manuals will be delayed if an order was to be placed now? Hoping since the update is out I can do so and not be put at the back of the line.
  6. Would you be hesitant to buy a used 2020 JL that was a rental car?

^ That's a beauty. All of this has contributed to me just unsubscribing from Autotrader, Carfax, Carvana, and True Car email updates and join Tread Lightly today. Barring something I can't refuse crossing my radar before then, I'm ordering a new Jeep. Just have to decide between a 2 door...
  7. Would you be hesitant to buy a used 2020 JL that was a rental car?

I've been driving the same truck for 21 years. I'm not one to swap vehicles until a repair bill exceeds what the car is worth to me. Except for one Ford Ranger that was $500 dollaring me to death, I've treated every one that way so far.
  8. Freedom edition?

Now that you mention it, nor have I. Seems like it would be a reasonably popular package with what comes with it.
  9. Would you be hesitant to buy a used 2020 JL that was a rental car?

Alright, you guys have convinced me. I'm taking this one off of my Autotrader favorites list.
  10. Freedom edition?

Seems odd power doors couldn't add that feature, but I've been told that's it's pretty simple to add after the fact. Hopefully doesn't mean a 2nd giant key fob though.
  11. Freedom edition?

Wow, $1045 seems like a lot for turn signals and accent lights.
  12. Would you be hesitant to buy a used 2020 JL that was a rental car?

Seeing as I want a 2 door and am picky about color, options on lots -new or used- are slim. About 2 hours away from me a 2020 Sport (in the color I'd probably pick if available on 2021s) has sat on the lot for at least 6-8 weeks. It was previously a rental car for 13 months in Ohio. The rental...
  13. Freedom edition?

Most annoying is probably keyless entry forcing you to pick half doors. My local small town hardware store has a more accurate website than Jeep's.
  14. Freedom edition?

Thanks, can't wait to see yours! The build site is very confusing. For example, Willys show as having LED package standard, and yet it's an option in the build. There are several other anomolies from specs to build sheet as well as options being forced or removed. In a perfect world I'd test...
  15. Massachusetts 2020 JLU Sahara Ocean Blue / Saddle Leather 6-Speed w/ Sky One Touch

Seriously. If I wasn't 15 hours away, I'd be very tempted.
  16. Freedom edition?

Sorry if there are 100 of you driving these, but when I search for this, Freedom panels fill up the search query. I'm building an awful lot of Wranglers online and trying to decide what to order since there are no soft top 2 door manuals anywhere on lots. I was sold on Willys, but now this model...
  17. Georgia 2020 Sport S for sale

This is an outstanding Wrangler! A little out of my budget and I don't want to make an insulting offer, but if it's still around and you're somewhat flexible on price please send me a PM.
  18. Show the stickers / decals you've added to your Jeep Wrangler JL

Not who you were asking, but I found them here:
  19. Long-distance buying, what about warranty work/issues?

Good to know, thanks. Hopefully they don't resent me for test driving their Jeeps and buying elsewhere!
  20. Long-distance buying, what about warranty work/issues?

It's looking like I can save thousands buying or ordering a Jeep from Travis here from the forums or an out of state dealership than I can find in my hometown. But what's the deal when something goes wrong or you need a repair under warranty? Are you expected to get a broken down Jeep 500+ miles...
