Sorry to revive this old thread, but I installed my Hoister over the weekend, and bought 2 topsy brackets for the rear. Was thinking I could use those and carabiners for the rear ropes, and use one of the included straps running horizontally across the front ropes. Would that work? Or do I need...

It arrived today to the dealership. Ordered 7/22. Will likely have to wait and pick it up on Friday.

Latest shipping update from my dealer says, “delay”, but showing ETA of 9/02 to 9/16 - I have been given that ETA range for a couple of weeks now from the dealer and Jeep Chat. We’ll see if it holds.

I had been checking once per week with Jeep Chat, and once every 2 weeks with my salesperson. Now that it’s started the build process I may start checking with Jeep Chat a bit more frequently (maybe twice per week), and the dealer once a week.

Update from dealer today says I am in paint. Ordered 7/22, and est. build date was today, 9/2.

I’m still just a pile of parts, ordered 7/22, latest build date from the dealer is 9/2. It’s been good seeing you all getting updates!

Those topsy hooks, do they stay on the top permanently? Or do you just put them on to take the top off?

I was given a 9/1 build date by my dealer, hoping it will come before Sept. 26 on my birthday as well!
