Sorry, been busy. But I have 2 of the Front Runners on the front cargo basket. Fit perfect and are held down with rubber bungees. https://www.frontrunneroutfitters.com/en/us/front-runner-wolf-pack.html
The one I have doesn’t weigh too much. If your ceiling is flat, you could run a piece of unistrut across several ceiling joists and it should be good. The winch will slide through a piece of strut.
I installed an electric winch from Harbor Freight on the garage ceiling. Wrapped 4 ratchet straps around RTT, then hooked to winch hook. Works pretty good for lifting off by myself. I ended up installing on my ceiling 4 lag eye-bolts above the 4 corners as well. When lifted with winch, these...
I have a FSR 63” high country premium. We slept in it with 30mph winds and no issues. I feel it’s perfectly supportive for 2 adults. 3 adults might be too much but I am pretty sure the roof could handle it. It’s was surprisingly stable.
I only have 2 rails on my 150 lb RTT and have used it for 15 camping nights with 2 adults. No issues whatsoever. Not sure you need 3 rails, but I guess that help spread it more evenly. Happy with mine.
Rack wind noise with RTT seemed reasonable to me. Haven’t driven much with just the rack. When I take off the RTT, I leave the deezee attached to the tent.
I am pretty sure the 55 would be too big, I think it was taller as well, with the seat slope it would probably hit. I had my Coleman butane stove case in front of Wolf Packs. Love that stove. You would have to drill the slide to mount to screw to fridge. No holes. And yes, the slide locks...
Not specifically, bot the keyhole slot is on top and bottom. Might be able mount the lower side if the crossbars favored(extended) more on awning side. Or just grab a small piece of aluminum c channel and create your own mount and bolt to keyhole slot
One thing to add. The reason I put the fridge slide on the drivers side was for two reasons. I have a Vector tailgate table, if the fridge was on passenger side, the tailgate table would interfere with slide when folded down. Secondly, I didn’t want to cover my Sub Woofer. The fridge and slide...
If I put warm beverages/food in fridge, it will shut off by morning. Once everything is cold, it lasts a long time. I also was worried so I picked up a jump start battery power pack from Costco just in case. It is cheap insurance and is super small. I am confident in the system.
No battery, it runs on Jeep stock battery. Just couldn’t believe that the fridge ran on Jeep battery for 20 hours without dropping below the low voltage limits of the fridge and battery. I think that as long as everything is super cold inside, the draw on the battery is minimal. The fridge will...
If you put a plywood floor in, here is a couple of tricks to help. Find a piece of cardboard and create a template by cutting it with scissors. After you have have your template, shorten length and width by 1/2” to allow for carpet wrapped edges(1/4” on all sides). This way it fits and no...
