Weird. I have the same part number and installed it yesterday.

After a couple hours and 2 broken extractor bits. I got it all back together. No idea why those were so fused in.

Are these things possibly reverse threaded I didn't even check. I just turned the ratchet and they broke. Both of them!

Just a regular ratchet LOL. The thread lock was so tight it's like they didn't even move.

Mine is smooth as butter and very tight. Zero complaints. Just I have baby death wobble now. So I'm trying to figure that out. Lol

Yes.. Sounds like she possibly hit something. That light will come on due to the steering wheel being off center.. I would assume for it to be that far off center something had to have been hit fairly decent. . but its only a 3min fix to straighten it back out. As long as nothing got bent.

I'm not sure that I am of any help. But I can say it should stay on the screen you put it on and not reset after turning it off. There is not way to "set as default" besides picking that screen and leaving it. The only time I think I've seen it jump to another screen is if there is an error...
