Was that passenger or driver, and if driver, with or without garage door buttons? My driver’s side with the buttons broke in January and my dealer is telling me it’s still on back order.
Mine broke in January and when I called the dealer they said it was back ordered until mid-February. I called today and they said maybe by the end of March. Absurd.
I noticed it a couple months after I got mine. It’s kind of bugged me since but not enough to do anything about it. Now that I know it’s normal, it won’t bother me any more so thanks OP for the post.
I’m also curious if anyone who renewed Guardian (not XM radio) got a good deal, and if so what it was. My trial is ending soon and they sent a mailer offering 12 months for the price of 10. I’m wondering if holding out will result in something better.
After opening a case with Jeep Cares and finally getting to speak with the Service Manager (who insisted it wasn’t possible to install the damper incorrectly), I brought it back. The Service Manager called out their “Master Tech” who proceeded to tell me the sticker didn’t matter and it was...
Do you know where that is documented? The service manager at my dealership insists that it can’t be incorrectly installed. So after I show him FCA’s own installation documentation, I suspect they’ll just reinstall it. But I’ve been driving on it a couple of weeks and if it may have been damaged...
Do you know where that’s written? I had mine done on Friday and was in a rush so didn’t check it until later in the day and of course it was installed incorrectly. I called the service manager and he insisted that it was correct regardless of what the sticker indicated. I mentioned the bulge...
Can you elaborate on where the green dot should be? I just had mine done but was in a hurry so couldn't check until I got home, and of course the arrow is pointing forward.
Does anyone else find that the sensor to turn the headlights on automatically is way too sensitive? I can be driving at noon on a sunny cloudless day and they’ll turn on every time I hit a shaded stretch of road. Of course I then can’t see anything on the dash or uconnect display as I’m...
Mine does it a little bit, even after the arms are locked and I get the “clicks”. I just use the Velcro straps that came with it for peace of mind though I don’t really think the top will go anywhere.
Siri and I frequently aren’t on speaking terms. She works fine when just talking into the phone but trying to get her to understand me In the Jeep is an exercise in frustration for some reason.
To me, it is inconvenient. I sometimes find myself bored with SXM or the radio and would like to listen to the music on my phone. But Bluetooth is going to pick up where I left off and the ability to search or select new music wirelessly via the console is pretty limited, at least in my...
I have one intermittently but haven’t been able to find it by manually shaking different parts of the top while parked. And of course when my wife drove so I could try to locate it, it didn’t do it then. Some will say it’s a Jeep thing but I’m not ready to accept that just yet.
I just got a set. They don’t quite screw in flush on the top because of the extra length of the top hinge bolts but that’s only noticeable with the doors off. It did seem to me that they’re less likely to scratch the hinges when putting the doors back on so I’m happy with them.
