I wheel trails that are rated up to 6-7, and they have taken hits on both sides now. They use the exact same mounting points and hardware as the signature series, but they stick out probably 4 inches wider and 3 inches lower at the widest point than the signature series. The signature series...

I swapped them for LOD Destroyers. I like the Signature Series, but I thought the Destroyers look better with the Road Armor fenders that I just put on.
Well, I had the LOD Signature Series sliders on for about 3 months, and I decided to swap them out for the Destroyers. I thought they would look better with my Road Armor fenders. Anyway, I had never rubbed by Signature Series sliders, but on my first trip with the Destroyers, I rubbed both...
Swapped out my LOD JL Signature Series Rock Sliders for LOD JL Destroyer Series Rock Sliders. I like the look more, although they are not a good for rock crawling (they are lower and stick further out).
I swapped by LOD Signature Rock Sliders for LOD Destroyer Rock Sliders. I never scraped the Signature sliders, but on my first trip out with the Destroyers, I scraped on both sides. They sit lower and wider than the Signature Series, but I like the look better.
I wish, but I'm not sure how to do that. I would somehow need to trim about three inches of width of each side. As it turned out, selling my old bumper offset much of the cost of the new one.
Installed a Road Armor rear bumper to replace my Warn Elite bumper. I don't like it as much as the Warn, as Warn's bumper's brackets and structure is much more stout. But the Warn stuck out further than my new Road Armor fenders, so it looked odd. The license plate bracket was also much more...
Installed Rigid Industries SR-M diffused backup lights in my rear bumper. Total PITA! It took an entire night to get them to fit my Road Armor rear bumper. Details of the install are over here: https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/road-armor-rear-bumper-lights-warning.62320/
I'm throwing this up as a warning to anyone else who may go down the same rabbit hole as me. So I swapped my Warn Elite bumper (which I loved) for a Road Armor Stealth rear bumper to better match my Road Armor fenders. The bumper has two cutouts for backup lights and mounts inside the bumper...
I wanted a flat black with a high temperature rating, so I used VHT Wheel Paint from Autozone. It will be easy to touch it up with some quick sprays. I took them off road on a rocky trail this weekend, and there was no chipping...
I have the signatures, and I am thinking of swapping them for Destroyers. I got the Signatures for the extra strength over the Destroyers, but I have yet to even rub them. And I like the look of the Destroyers more (they hide the pinch seam)...
Thanks! I'm not sure about the truss. I didn't put it on, as welding is not a skill of mine (yet).
As for the skid plates, there is one mount on each side (near the rear) that shares a bolt. In the picture, it's the bolt with the armored washer. It doesn't seem to affect how the sliders...
