Funny, I was about to bump the thread last week. I flipped mine earlier in the year and I like it...problem is the large spring clip around the ball socket popped out and I cannot get it back in (so lots of rattling). I have been to the dealer three times for the steering so figured to ask the...
The parts finally came in and I had the work done today...the steering is PERFECT now. Only complaint is there is power steering fluid literally everywhere underneath the front of the Jeep...
Parts finally came in and my appointment is today! I even had them open the box to validate the correct steering box. I am hopeful there will not be anymore surprises, I will report back!
Cheers
I just had my stock exhaust cut before the rear axle and had a Spintech muffler welded on with a turndown. This muffler is fairly loud (not obnoxious at all) but sounds good as hell with zero drone. If you want quieter just pick a different muffler. All in for less than a few hundred bucks...
Thanks Darlene, I have had a case open for two years to no avail. I was now told the backorder situation is worse and they have no idea when they can get the parts in. This is after I had the parts ordered, told they were coming in, scheduled an appointment for replacement, arrived at my...
Yep, you can also add FCA's complacency releasing half doors to the list. Couple of reasons why I am considering a Bronco in a couple of years after the initial hype dies down a bit.

I think this is awesome....BUT...I assume pricing will be retarded like every other desirable SRT product. I love the craziness of the 392 but to be honest they should have also just added the 5.7 hemi to any trim as one of the engine options for a reasonable price. Additionally, I really don't...
Yea...I have heard this as well unfortunately but fingers crossed. I have been chasing this problem since day one 2.5 years ago and anxious for a real fix!
Cheers.
Yep same story here. Had mine in three weeks ago and finally got the dealership to agree to do the TSB (long story...). Said they are on national backorder and they can only get one steering box per couple weeks. There is a line of people waiting for them and they told me they would be able to...
Oh, with regards to the FAQ - I have heard the factory lockers in JLs can be tricky to setup when swapping gears and easy to screw up apparently. Any clear guidance on what to watch for and how to avoid any issues would be helpful.
Cheers.
Wow...perfect timing and this is my exact use case! Thanks for taking the time to do this! Now I will get to see why it costs $2700 after tax in my local area to swap gears...
Cheers.
