Will Dealer Buy Back Wheels/Tires at Delivery

Maybe a dumb question, but if a JLUR includes the 17/7.5 wheels/tires for $995 that you really don't want/need because you will go straight to after-market wheels/tires, will a dealer knock the $995 off the negotiated price and swap them for stock JLUR wheels/tires? I know it may depend on the dealer and the price, but has anyone done this?

I assume they'd then just add on to the price of the receiving Jeep.

Very dependent on dealer and their motivation. I have herd of dealers giving a credit for wheels and tires if you buy the new set from them. Some tire stores like Discount Tires might buy your take-offs also. Do not expect to get retail though. Your milage may vary.

You can always sell them pretty easily on Craigslist, eBay, this forum.

Yeah, this is the best that will be done for you. One of the reasons I factory ordered is because so many Jeeps on the lot have the upgraded wheels. I like the upgraded Sahara/Rubicon rims and the Sport ones are okay. None are worth nearly $1000 though especially not from the factory.

i put them for sale on the forum
5 wheels and tires with sensors for $1300
some guy low balled me for 700
but i got my price after a few days

Sell them on Craigslist. There is a surprisingly deep market for them if they are brand new takeoffs with delivery miles only. They're worth ~$1,000.
