Interesting indeed, I'll have a look later tonight. They might have changed it in 2019.. But 600 is really low, back in 2018, you get 650 as base, and up-gradable to 700 with options. sneaky FCA!

@DadJokes you can see 650 listed as "standard equipment".

I see yours says supplemental heater. Block heater? Maybe that’s the difference?

Yeah, I'm in Canada, block heaters are supposedly included on most vehicles sold here.
There ya go. I bet that’s it. It’s a pretty good draw I imagine. If you, or anyone, could get me the part number at your earliest convenience it would be greatly appreciated.

There’s no data that I can find for aftermarket options so if I get the number for the 700cca or at least a 650 I’ll swap and have enough juice to run a winch.

Block heaters have nothing to do with the battery. It's literally just a heating element in the engine block to that you plug into your wall. Completely separate of all the electronics on your Jeep or any vehicle.

The 2020 Window sticker shows a 600cca battery for an I4 eTorque engine. The tow package ups that to 700. I guess they moved from 650/700 to 600/700 in 2020.

Yea like Spurly just mentioned, block heater has nothing to do with the battery. But it’s shaping up like a 2019 thing and onwards.

The sticker for my 2019 JLUR (ordered late March) shows 600 for the 2.0 eTorque and 700 for the tow package.

You’re right. For some reason my brain wasn’t working on that one. It’s been years since I thought about plugging a block heater into a wall with a cord. I can’t even tell you how my mind got there. lol

Mine is a 3.6 JLUS and has a 650cca. I ordered Dec 2018 and received it in Jan 2019. I didn't realize the base battery would be different between the two although with eTorque it shouldn't surprise me.

Yeah, you get a battery with more capacity and a higher output alternator if you order the tow-package with the 3.6 ESS. I wonder if all 3.6 ESS engines should be equipped with the higher capacity battery and higher output alternator considering how common ESS battery issues are?

Do you have the factory towing package? I think it comes with an upgraded battery and alternator.
You are correct - towing package upgrades the battery.
