Have had my Sunrider installed for over a year now. Initially, I was looking forward to a retractable shade. While waiting for the said, I installed an Alien shade early on to enjoy the full benefits of the Sunrider.

If and when Bestop introduces a retractable shade, I will consider it. In the meantime, I have what I need.

I too have installed a Sunrider for hardtop and was waiting for the retractable sun shade. In the meantime Bestop makes a Sun Bikini mesh targa sunshade that they say will work with the Sunrider and allow you to open and close the Sunrider from inside the JL. I have one on order. Hope that it works.
