Hi guys,
I was wondering if anyone has had a fab be able to lower the driver seat brackets to lower the seat mounting.

I currently drive with the seat at its lowest setting and my head clips the roll bar above the driver seat so I have to sit at a weird angle.

Any room to move the seat down for headroom is needed.

I live in CT if anyone knows a place around.
I’ve checked other threads and found “I’m tall I fit fine.” Well I don’t so please don’t post that.
Thanks!

There is another thread; TL:DR-the consensus is the only way to lower the seat is to remove foam from the seat cushion, which is a non-starter for my 275 pound butt, but there are brackets to move the seat back further.

If you peek around under there with a flashlight, you’ll see that the inside rail (closest to the console) is sitting on the floor of the vehicle. Jeep definitely didn’t do any favors for tall people with the JL. I’m only 6 foot and the tops of the gauges are clipped from my view with the seat all the way down and back.
