Socal Offroad buddies

I would like start a thread for socal folks who are planning to go out and looking for some company to wheel with. Just post up when and where you are planning to go to gauge others interest.

Ill start.

Planning to run Jawbone canyon to piute Mountain road in Mojave 6/2 Sunday, meetup at shell gas station in Mojave (16048 Sierra Hwy, Mojave, CA 93501) at 10:00AM. Here is a link with some info about the trail. https://www.trailsoffroad.com/trails/2736-jawbone-canyon-to-piute-mountain-road

I'm heading up to the sequioas Sunday through Thursday. Won't be too much offroading with the little ones though. Next time I go out I'll post it up here.

Ah man I envy that trip! Been wanting to head to strawberry lake etc. Make sure you take pics when up there and post them up!! I'll post a few in the next few days when I get back home. I'm up in kernville and took a day trip to trail of 100 Giants today. Water level is highest I seen it in a long while. Really want to head up to monache Meadows to see what the dam looks like, that will have to wait until a later time.

I'd love to get an update afterwards. I was up there last year during the fires and am anxious to get back there. Maybe a trip with a couple Jeep's into Coyote Lake/Red Lake for an overnighter. I see your in Somis. I'm in the San Fernando Valley. Retired and always out with mine.

Love to run in the sierras with you some day..

We had a great time.. here is few pictures, we have some great video too, but you will have to see that on facebook..

Bretz Milz camp ground was a sweet place to stay, not crowded nice creek, little brook trout to play with, swimming hole etc.. can't wait to go back!

But my next trip is Rubicon Aug2.. I am building a custom rack so not too much time left...

Had a great time with the family out at Pinyon Mountain Trail. Only took a small amount of trail damage going through the Squeeze. Here is a recap of our trip. Loads of fun. Very beautiful place.
