Which control arm relocation bracket are you using? Looks like it doesn’t hang as low as some of the others I’ve seen.
It was part of the Maximus-3 Geo 2.5 lift

How do you like the lift with the falcons in general? I’m looking for a new a new lift and was considering the Teraflex ST2 but am constantly hearing how stiff they are, even their new SP line has the same reviews.

Thanks for the info. what size lift should you change to adjustable control arms and what brand do you recommend?
There is really no set lift height that dictates the need for adjustable control arms. It will depend on your caster/pinion angle and axle centering in the wheel well needs. I personally got front and rear upper and lower adjustable control arms prior to my lift because I’ve seen so many lifted JL’s with the rear axle moved to far forward for my liking. However, after lifting 3.5” my rear axles didn’t shift forward which goes to show you that every Jeep is different, each and every one is really different!! As far as what brand, that comes down to personal preference, you can play pin the tail on the donkey with all the major players and you can’t go wrong. I personally like a pinch bolt style versus a jam nut style and I’m partial to Teraflex but they are on the pricey side.

I have to agree with Peters post #2216.

My personal goal is for as low of center of gravity as possible, while still being able to avoid any rubbing with 37's. I also daily drive mine, so on road manners are just as important to me as enhancing off road capabilities. Also, most lifts seem to give around an inch more than advertised and sometimes result in a stiffer on road ride than stock because they prioritized it's off readiness.

I ended up with the Dynatrac endurosport true 2" lift. They advertise it as not needing any peripheral parts because it's not enough lift to throw geometry out of spec, but my other goal was to beef up the rest of the suspension and steering components. If something is over built and not beaten beyond reason, my thought is that it should be able to go the distance. I won't list everything because you asked about control arms. I chose to go with the full 8 arm kit from Synergy, because I prefer the pinch bolt clamp design over the jam nut style and they have sealed maintenance free bushings.

I picked her (Ruby Lee) up on October 15th and have finally got her just the way I want her..... for now ;-) She's come a long way in a short time from stock, in the 1st pic the day of pickup.

I've owned dozens of cars in my 50 years (2nd Wrangler), and this one tops the favs list for sure. LOVE IT!

Here’s a few pics of the 37’s at install tonight, I really like the jump from 35 E rated to 37 D rated Ridge Grapplers. To be honest, I don’t really notice much of a difference in performance and handling between the two, and that’s a great surprise!! I have to adjust my headlights ASAP because I was getting flashed by everyone on the way home. Just for kicks I threw in a couple of pictures of my front end, in my opinion it’s a work of art, an expensive art lol. On a side note I really like the Mopar lift, it’s great lift for daily driver/weekend warrior duties but I want a little more capability and height so I decided on the Metal Cloak Dual rate 2.5” with Rocksport shocks. I hear nothing but great things about this lift, anyone running this lift on this thread?

Get 37’s my friend or you will regret it and pay twice like most of us that got 35’s did to begin with. If you insist on 35’s I have 5 almost new 35” Ridge Grappler’s for sale, two months old lol. Pay once and get 37’s or pay twice and get them in a couple of months, regardless, you’ll end up with 37’s, trust me!!

Here’s a few before and after, If I listened and got 37’s to begin with I wouldn't have been grinding my rear lower control arm mounts and Rock Slide step on this rock. I also would have saved almost $2000 dollars in tires.

On a side note, rings or no rigs, both are with 37’s. I feel like the rings make them look smaller. Funny story my wife says your tires look huge, what did you do to them? I said nothing sweetie, I just took off the rings and it makes them look bigger. I put the rings back on a said, see they look small again, she said yeah they do :fingerscrossed::whew:thoughts?
