Rust Protection

Hi Guys,

Got a 2018 JLU Sahara - Granite Metallic Crystal on order its going to be my first jeep, I live in an area where salt loves to rust the hell out of vehicles and i'm wondering what kind of rust protection you guys tend to use?

I'm going to do a layer of frame paint because I noticed a few small spots of the frame that got missed then I'll hit it with fluid film come fall

Not much you can do to prevent it completely, especially if you live in the rust belt. My buddy loves the product from Eastwood. He bought their frame paint and did the inside/outside of his frame. Don’t recall if the spray can came with this special nozzle or if it was extra, but it was pretty neat the 360* head for doing the inside of the frame. Definitely not something that was a one and done, but something you’d want to freshen up once a year.
