Can forum members please be required to quote only relevant portions of posts, please?

E.g. a thread that has a large number of posts wholly quoted, along-with all the images (&/or videos) posted in the original post.
The post is usually appended with a small congratulatory (or otherwise) line at the bottom.

It's an eyesore & tedious to browse through.

It's nice when people create nicely edited quotations and responses, but it's just not feasible to make it a requirement.
