Replaced the stock halogen headlights with a pair of Mopar LEDs (Mopar part No. 82215136AD).

It is completely plug-and-play. Entire install took 20 minutes.

List price is $900; you can find them for a LOT less if you look around.

The LEDs weigh twice as much as the halogens

You need to remove the grille. The end result is literally nigh and day. The LED is on the right.

After you replace the headlights, you are going to want to replace the halogen turn signals and fog lights. They look yellow by comparison.

Turns out the halos don’t work. The plug-and-play part is only for the regular headlights. If I want the halos to work, I need to remove the fender liners, lay new wiring into the cabin through the firewall, etc., etc. And it needs a dealer flash to activate the halos. Not so plug-and-play after all...grrr!

Had I known what I know now, I’d have skipped these Mopar LEDs and gotten something else. There have to be aftermarket alternatives that are easier to install, work well, look just as good and cost less.

Now I have ask the dealer how much to make the halos work. Based on the amount of time and work I see, I’m guessing $300 just in labor.

Yeah; but I hated the engine testing. Our berthing was right under the engine testing shop. the showers were directly under the testing pod. We had to wear earplugs to take a shower when testing, which always seemed to occur between 0300-0500...

Remember the Industrial Hygiene Surveys? They would select people to wear a red box that collected peak decibel levels. They would tell you: "Just go about your normal work day but don't go in these areas (List)". Hilarious!

Not today but this weekend, I’ll be installing my inner fenders, they showed up today....... I went with the freedom series, might be lame to some , but I wanted the ventilation for the engine compartment. The wife liked the idea of the flag, so if it makes her happy, I’ll put up with the negative feedback, no worries ....;)
