For my upland bird hunting, I need to bring at least 2-3 gals of drinking water for a couple dogs and a couple people. I'm looking for ideas on containers and mounting. I'm currently using a 7 gal blue plastic cube jug from Walmart.

5-gallon water jug. As long as it doesn’t have some bumper number or unit name spray-painted on it, people will assume you didn’t steal it.

That's exactly what I use, and that's a pretty good price. You can get a dispensing attachment for it too. There is a bit of a learning curve when pouring between opening the valve and the air vent and shutting them in the right order so that water doesn't leak out.

It sounds like you already figured water out. Is there not enough room in your Jeep for your water jug?

It's a large jug, unsecured, and I could use the space. I'm trying to tidy up the number of loose objects in the back end.
