It is about time, with such narrow beam limitations of the LED chips (generally limited to 120-degrees or less) it is nice to see a simple upgrade to widen the distribution. Personally there should be more diffused bars and cubes with diffused lenses. Now if you would develop indirect light bars to help reduce glare even more would be great. I design LED Sports lighting where high performance luminares are critical however glare management even more important (this seams to be ignored in offroad lighting), I see the same challenge and demands for on road and offroad LED lighting. There is a such thing as too much light. Frankly most LED light bars are not practical simply due to the glare, they are fine to use as long as there are no people within the beam of the light.

This seams to be a good start though. (If you need a beta tester I am here to help)

Does the 12” come with mounting brackets that I could mount here in the pic? Also what about a wiring harness to install into my aux switch?

Each 12" Stage Series includes a pair of our Universal Mounting Brackets. For wiring, we sell several harness options with an LED toggle switch. But, for JLs with the OEM switch bank, I'd recommend our OEM Auxiliary Switch Dual-Output Wiring Harness, which makes wiring auxiliary lights extremely simple.
