Canned Cranberry Sauce vs Homemade

I’m not trying to provoke a fight. I understand this is a hotly contested issue. I could use some advice.

As a kid, I preferred the canned sauce. As I get older, I appreciate the homemade sauce. My daughter likes the canned sauce. My wife and son slightly prefer the homemade sauce. What should I do? Should I make both?

This won't solve your problem, but I just have to mention that I have never understood the cranberry sauce for Thanksgiving thing. I don't like either.

Go homemade though (wife vote)!

No cranberry sauce for me, thanks. I'm frying a turkey, and some cheese curds to go with it. Plus stuffing, gravy, and mashed potatoes. Only brown food on my plate

"Stuff it down with brown" they say. Saying applies to liquor and food imo.

An apple Cranberry Old fashioned or Mule if you will.

The canned stuff is gag-inducing. LOL. And it is not really "sauce" it is cranberry flavored jello*y*.
