omg no. lol no. I like knobs. I don't want to look at a touch screen for 45 seconds while driving to figure out how to make the AC colder. Sometimes the old way is better.

Why would you even want to replace the UConnect unit to begin with?

Say what you will about FCA quality and longevity, but other than maybe Tesla, FCA has the best infotainment system in any modern vehicle. Period. It's not perfect, but it's phenomenally better than every other auto and aftermarket audio manufacturer out there. And that's saying a lot considering Chrysler's previous generation units were absolute fucking garbage.

This is a much better option than my 5 inch it my jeep currently, and yea i would rather have the knobs but if I have to use a touch screen for my ac and heat so be it. Also the touch screen is capacitive so should be fine.

You lose your volume knob, i know its not a big deal with steering wheel controls but still annoys me.

Also, $1000 for that 7 inch that is very basic just seems way too much, they could have at least integrated wireless carplay into it. Thats the main feature i want.
