did you get the track bar with poly bushings?
Yes, Steer Smarts track bar(improved deadspot), Fox2.0 Steering Damper(touch stiffer steering in general) and did a 1/4 turn on my gear box adjustment screw(1/8th turn each time, cleaned up remaining deadspot) ...I am finally happy with it.

I've been to 3 different dealerships and have been told operates as intended, etc each time. Today, with almost zero negotiation, the dealership informed me they'll be replacing my steering gear to help with the wandering. (I had the Jeep in for the v41, freebie oil change/tire rotation). Fingers crossed this helps out. Service manager also alluded to the fact my track bar was latest and greatest. I have a Jan19 build date.

Just got back from my third trip (second dealership) where the service manager sat next to me as I drove it and said that jeeps are supposed to drive like that. He initially told me that two different techs drove the vehicle on city streets and the highway. Well they put about 3 total miles on it. He also told me that they couldnā€™t find a problem with the radio so on the drive to work I recorded it cutting out 3 times. (Happened twice before I realized I had my iPad and could record) Had they driven it they would have found this problem as well. These dealers are just lying snakes period point blank.

This one; this prolly isn't a JL but similar...right side, front engine bay...look straight down. Not something I would mess with if your not technically savvy

LOL you've been posting this to everyone that has a problem so you know how dealers are treating the steering issue. Have you done anything?? no or else people wouldn't still be having this problem. The only thing I can see happening is different dealers are now putting up the same front "it's supposed to do that". Stay strong jeep "cares"

On my second steering box. First one replaced with aprox 300 miles. Now with 3300 total miles, it drives like a 1969 Buick, no joke, my 1995 Range Rover Classic has much better steering than my JL. Really loosing the will to live, as I drive 90 miles round trip 6 days per week.
Was planing on buying a new JL rubicon diesel, but I donā€™t think I will

Had the V41 and AE box installed. Honestly, the steering is what I would call tight/heavy at this point. Limited miles so far, but a mix of interstate and side streets and I'm pleased with the gearbox. Verrrrrrry little slack on center in either direction. Before this swap I had what many describe as 1-1.5" of play. I really hope it keeps a similar feel as the miles roll on.

I still may upgrade track bars to help keep the stock 33s (and axles) on my Rubicon where they are supposed to be.

Thatā€™s great. It seems that itā€™s a crap shoot when it comes to steering boxes. I had another AD box installed and it did nothing. I have 2ā€“3ā€ of play. Good times :(

Good to here. I had the AE steering box installed and it did nothing. Does seem to be a crap shoot on getting a "good" one

Rolling the dice - dealer says that the regional rep and corp are saying a new steering box is needed.
Took 2 weeks to get to this point.....who know how long to get the new part in and installed.
Hopefully is a good box.
