FFS get it right - camping with your Jeep is now called "overlanding"

You're clearly so not cool (like me)

Here we were overlanding in July. Sick brah.

I should really probably get skinny jeans and a Sprinter to make my overlanding extreme ;)

No, don't do that . . . the Sprinter regardless how you dress it out, won't be as off road capable . . . though granted you'll have all the "luxury" items at your disposal !? The "Overlanding" idea you have is preferable (to me) and the "Camping" in "Designated and Meticulously maintained" is not MY idea of "roughing it" ! But, I recognize that we all have different needs and abilities to ones own means end ! JEEP ON !

Damn you all!

NOW I want to get my Kamp Rite out, get my camp stoves out, grab my camp table and chair...and set it all up in the back yard! Break out the sporks and raid the pantry in the kitchen for epic spices while I ignore my Ninja Foodie and burn little bits of wood in a titanium flat stove to cook some chicken...and boil water for hot chocolate in the Jet Boil!

Naturally, I'm still 5 weeks and 6 days away from the delivery of our new JLU, so if I want to actually camp I'll need to load up my BMW Z4 - which would carry all my gear, but ground clearance is, ahem...limited... ;)

LOVING the inspiration you're all sharing here! Please keep it up!

Bonus points for more trailer pics. ;) Especially home made rigs!

No Bed Bugs . . . Your own Personal Chef . . . what's not to love ? I would be a bit concerned about any "rattling" going on, of the snake variety, though ! Other than that, very nice, can not beat the view .

No, NO, NO! YOU are completely missing the point here!

It's clear your overlanding force is weak as you fail to even address two major factors:

1 - man buns
2 - boogie board mounting

Without addressing those two critical broverlanding items, how can we take you seriously?!

For some added context, I don't even HAVE a Jeep right now, yet I'm 96% qualified to give overlanding advice!

The Maze district in Canyonlands NP. No other people for many miles.

Nearly perfect . . . all I would need is me in the background, standing in the River Waving a Stick (fly rod) !

47 years of camping. No rattling in camp area. The cot has only been used post 50 years old. Up until that time slept in bag on ground. Used a tent less than 10 times out of maybe 600 nights out over the years
