Weather stripping issue

Finding all these little issues is getting rather frustrating. Has anyone else had issues with the stripping between where the top and the windshield frame meet? Mine is completely chipping and dry rotted.

Mine looks like new, but I wipe them with some 303 aerospace protectant every month though.
