Has any tried to build the mopar kit piece by piece using the part numbers? I wonder if money could be saved that way? It looks like the springs are super cheap and the shocks I would guess are about 5-600.

You cannot order the shocks outside of the kit. You can get everything else but would need to order different shocks.

I built the kit separately and this is how I found out about the shocks. Ended up buying the complete kit so that I could get the shocks.

Based on part numbers the shocks are around $250 a piece but cannot be ordered.

Oh okay. That makes sense. Figured it was worth a try.

Surely they can be bought without the kit? Just a thought, if there were warranty work on one shock they wouldn’t buy a whole kit just for one shock...? Just my opinion as I haven’t tried searching for this shocks.

That gives me something to do.

I found a couple of sets of part number 68317572AA for $417 each in California at a few Dodge Chrysler Dealers there. The other part number 68317582AA are cheaper at $340 each.

Seems to be cheaper buying the kit in this case then.
No kidding. I asked why were they so expensive, the parts guy agreed and couldn’t tell me why. Also, the part number seemed to change to an AB from an AA. They couldn’t tell me why it would change. Perhaps an upgrade or a discounted part.

It was worth a try. There is a partial kit on eBay I was hoping to subsidize. Debating between this and rubicon suspension

Why would anyone order these POS springs separately? The only thing worth a crap in this kit are the shocks, which are arguably too short, and you can't order them separately.

Lol. Love how the 2nd and 3rd items are completely mislabeled. 2nd picture shows arrow pointing to right rear but is labeled RF. 3rd picture shows arrow pointing to left front but labeled LR. It's no wonder all the installs on these are jacked up.
