Hi Gary,

great to see that you put "my" MOPAR tailgate reinforcement to good use

I notice that you have installed the Metalcloak Game Changer and also the Yeti draglink and tie rod.

Question
  • Did you install the Yeti pro-actively, or did you experience wobbling and sought to address that?
  • If the latter: was it successful?
Thanks, Peter

Correction: MY Mopar Tailgate Reinforcement :LOL:

Great to meet you on the forum! It is doing the job great and leaving me piece of mind on the bumpy trails. The Yeti bits were a proactive move. I didn't have any real issues before, though there was a bit of shaking on big bumps and when I would hit an expansion joint on the bridge corners (this even after a new stabilizer was installed by the dealer). After the new lift, Yeti bits, and alignment she tracks as true as before but a bit more solidly now. Subtle when driving up the highway but really noticeable when you hit big bumps. Those same expansion joints on the bridge turns don't phase the Jeep at all. It's just solid. Highly recommended. :like:

(I'm not sure the control arms granted any advantages yet, but it was less to get now than to go back to get them again later.)

Nice build!
Thanks! I do love driving this Jeep. Just got out of the woods from a long hike. No Jeeping but I did get more great views in the Ouray hills.

I really need to live here.

Off topic, but I love the new avatar. I got a few of those glasses here at home. My favorite place to hang out at the end of the day and watch people and rigs move up and down the main drag.

Very jealous. I loved hanging out in Ouray. Beautiful town and great views.

Sorry I missed ya last time but we will be back. My glass is in danger of being stolen by the kids. I'll have to come back for another!

We are going back to Ouray next August. Maybe we will see you and @Only One there.

Next project: JT grill inserts

In the hopes of a bit better air flow, and because it didn't cost much, I got the JT grill inserts. (Read here.)

(Thanks @raim314 for the heads up on parts!)

Install was super easy and I am glad to find out that the grill was so easy to remove. When the time comes, I'll plasti dip it to hide the chips. lol
