Hi Gary,
great to see that you put "my" MOPAR tailgate reinforcement to good use
I notice that you have installed the Metalcloak Game Changer and also the Yeti draglink and tie rod.
Question
Thanks, Peter
- Did you install the Yeti pro-actively, or did you experience wobbling and sought to address that?
- If the latter: was it successful?
Correction: MY Mopar Tailgate Reinforcement
Great to meet you on the forum! It is doing the job great and leaving me piece of mind on the bumpy trails. The Yeti bits were a proactive move. I didn't have any real issues before, though there was a bit of shaking on big bumps and when I would hit an expansion joint on the bridge corners (this even after a new stabilizer was installed by the dealer). After the new lift, Yeti bits, and alignment she tracks as true as before but a bit more solidly now. Subtle when driving up the highway but really noticeable when you hit big bumps. Those same expansion joints on the bridge turns don't phase the Jeep at all. It's just solid. Highly recommended.
(I'm not sure the control arms granted any advantages yet, but it was less to get now than to go back to get them again later.)
