i'm surprise because military have been building heavy duty spec vehicle to be multi purpose. this could be used in a light duty purpose for mp or base to base duties.

Quote on black back ground seems mis-leading. Quote from M715 site which was based on the 1969 gladiator, "This truck was never used by the US military but was purchased by some foreign governments.
Just saying.
Maybe it was procured by the DOD for foreign military sales? Lots of equipment, including military JK's, were bought this way by the DOD and then transferred to foreign miltaries. Or, maybe I should say they were bought through the DOD>

Seats are cut out so that we can wear our armor and gear. The wheels look like the next generation of Hutchinson bead locks.
Itā€™ll get uparmored.
No, it won't. This will not see duty in a hostile fire area. Unless it is strictly for on base use.

This is will be for light duty. The pitch is to replace HMMWVs that are aging and still in use in roles that they are overkill for. The vehicle that makes the supply run, the one that the NCO uses to check out the motor pool gate at night, etc.

This is not a DoD procurement. Full stop.
