Damn JLUR, no steering problem (haven't had recall done), radio works great, 2.0 is peppy and responsive, comfortable seats, no broken windshield, and so much fun to drive. Wish something would happen so I could come on here to bitch about it.
I'm in the same boat as you dammit....no issues whatsoever. We must have got the two they built right.

Interesting... im on 38 psi
I believe 36 PSI is what Jeep recommends; most, like I, under-inflate for better road handling. When going off road in certain conditions, we drop the PSI even lower.

My ONLY issue isn’t with my Jeep - it’s with my ignorance, which many of you have already greatly mitigated in other threads! My issue with some is that they post a question AFTER their mind is made up. That pesky confirmation bias thing.

Your Jeep will use whatever gear it needs to use to get the best power/mpg ratio. If you don't have enough power to be in 8th it won't be in 8th. I have a manual with 33s and a 2 inch lift and I don't use 6th gear till 80mph. I still get 24mpg in 5th if I am going 70. If you don't need 8th don't worry about it. If the Jeep is moving and getting decent mpg in 7th what does it matter? All the comments about re-gearing are correct though - although you shouldn't need to for 33s. You also really don't even need to use the Tazer for only 33s, but you should.

Sorry, I missed your post. Yes, I was charged $75.
I just got a 2019 sport s altitude and want to replace the tires from the 255 70r18 up to a 33. I had questions about fit, rub, on / off road and you have answered all of them without knowing. Thanks for all that. did you have to get a new tires carrier to support the larger 33?

I’m embarrassed to say that my spare is one of the original tires.
