Indeed, I would assume minimal improvement, but I'm no aerodynamics engineer. Anyone try the 850w fan in a JL yet?
This would be a really nice swap. Can someone find a part number? Will it fit the 2.0? I think that extra cooling could be amazing especially for the turbo.

So do you only need 1 of each part number? The quantity ordered in the post above is confusing.

I just did this mod and I also have the Bolt hood lock. I had to order a second center grille because bolt's J T template told me to cut in the wrong place. It needed to be cut higher than the template said. I don't know if the JT location is correct on the gladiator and maybe the lock mounted higher on the Wrangler but I wouldn't see why it would be differen . Anyway, if you go this route just test fit before cutting the opening. I used a razor blade on the first one but used an xacto knife tip for a soldering iron to cut the second . The hot knife worked great.

Replaced mine today. Noticed that the trim between the painted grill and the mesh inserts is also replaceable:

Iā€™m guessing that the JT trim pieces would fit better in the areas shown below. And also provide slightly more airflow. If I was doing this again (or if I take my grill off again), I would replace these also. From the front you canā€™t tell, but itā€™s pretty obvious on the backside. Hope this helps someone else.

I also made my Zauto camera work in the new grill until they come out with a mount to fit the new grill.

How difficult was it to mount the camera? I have the same camera and have wanted to get those inserts but was afraid the camera wouldnā€™t fit well. Yours looks great.

It it just took some filing of the top two corners. You can see my file marks if you zoom in. I had to file all the way back on those top two prongs. Just lots of test fitting and checking the screen until I had the right camera angle. The black gorilla tape you see is to hold the camera from spinning to keep the horizontal angle correct. I also used some black silicone to hold the tabs better. Still waiting for Zauto to make the gladiator mounts and then Iā€™ll swap it.
