I ordered the Pro Comp 75w Wide Angle Cube LED Lights from a suggestion on the forum. They come with a wiring harness with a built in switch.

I have the factory installed aux switches so I don't need the built in switch. I’m not sure what to do with this included switch as it’s wired to the relay and has about 10 feet of cable.

What do I need to do to bypass this and just use my factory switch? I will include a pic when I get home.

All you need is 1 red and 1 black wire.
Hook red up to the power harness (aux 1 2 3 or 4) and black to ground from the light.

Ron,
Thank for the response. I understand that but what do I with the switch. It's wired into the relay. I guess I can cut away the shrink wrap and see if I can disconnect it from the relay?

You don't need the relay. The factory aux switches go through a relay so you can just hook straight to the power with regular wire like 77RRAD said.

Power and ground as stated, cut the rest off the harness and through away. Unless you're a pack rat like me and keep it for something else years down the road.

I would just go buy some black and red wire and save the harness.

If you are desperate to use that harness just leave turned on and hide the lot

Happy to report project completed. Thanks for the advice. I ended up cutting most of the harnesses wires away like suggested. Works like a charm!

Thank you very much.

How have they been at night? Worth the money?

Excellent! These are floodlights and they cast a very wide beam. Certainly brightens the periphery tremendously, as well as adding significant lighting height.

The lights are made very well. Solid casing and build quality. The wiring is heavy gauge and the connecters are strong. I did remove the relay and switch as I didn't need them due to having the factory Aux switches.

I did get these for $75 for the pair via a post on this forum. So for the price I paid I am extremely pleased!
