Has anyone wheeled offroad with a relatively heavy camping/overlanding cargo load with this lift? Did it start bottoming out?
Yes, I had the Mopar 2” lift ( which is actually almost 3) on my JLUR with a rooftop ten and the back full of overlanding stuff, never bottomed out.

What made you decide to take it out?

So have any of yall installed geometry correction brackets with the mopar lift? If so which ones, and did you use the new lift LCA'S or the stock ones?

I answered this in the other thread.

I used geo brackets in addition to the longer arms. I used the middle hole. The combination resulted in 6.8° of caster. Rides great.

I've used Rubicon Express brackets as well as Rancho. Either brand will do the trick.

Which of those two geometry brackets did you install, Rancho or Rubicon Express? Also, some claim they bash rocks with the geo brackets because they hang down. Have you experienced that, or are they forward enough that you don't really have an issue with them? My Jeep drives great right now, but I've read that the Geo brackets just make it steer and handle better and with more stability.

I've installed both. On my current jeep I have the Rubicon Express.

I don't rock crawl. I play in the mud and snow. So I'm not much help in regard to rocks. I can say the Rancho brackets are beefier so they would hold up better on rocks.

Thanks! I'm not afraid to rub things a bit, but I want to make sure the parts are tough enough to take it. Rancho usually makes their stuff very robust. I"m assuming they both provide essentially the same exact adjustment?

The Rancho brackets are extremely robust. They will hold up to a beating.

Both the Rubicon Express and Rancho brackets have 3 holes to chose from. You select the hole based on lift height. I went with the middle hole. If you find it to be too much or to little caster you can always move them up or down one.

Thanks again. So how did it impact ride/handling/etc.? Did you feel a big difference? I noticed AEV makes this standard with their 2.5" and up Dualsport suspension lifts, so they must think they are a necessary piece of equipment.

Improves steering/less wandering/less flighty. Ride quality is less bumpy, less nose dive etc.

Here's minz with the 2" mopar lift with no bowing in the front springs. Ride is perfect a little stiff but love it. I actually want to go a tad bit higher.

Ive got to take mine in when I get back from vacation. I haven't had a chance to take it offroad yet. Less than four thousand miles on it and it looks like this.

I know this reply is a little late so I hope this was already figured out by your installer. The passenger side spring needs to be rotated a another 3/8" clockwise (looking down at the spring isolator) so the end of the coil butts up. There should be no gap. My teenage boys installed mine and they had same gaps on both driver and passenger which made the springs bow drastically. Corrected the rotation and springs are perfect. I have the updated perches. I hate the plastic and recommend RK perches for anyone who is reassembling for any reason. Other than the perches, the springs and shocks are great. Love the shocks!
