My 19 JLs carpet was perforated in the area of the drain plug. No cutting involved!!

You'll shoot your eye out...

:LOL::bandit:
I had a coworker that did lose his eye with a bungee strap exactly like that one. He was wearing safety glasses at the time too.

Is this is a New York or California compliant AR15?

A few bucks for Bungee's

Depending upon handle diameter the old MagLite clips work really well for this, but still usually needs to be horizontal so the shovel doesn't just drop out

If you can overcome the moral outrage of charging nearly $800 for a jack whilst simultaneously applying copious amounts of Vaseline (or lubricant of choice) to your posterior....the ARB jack fits pretty damn well here, use some old toe straps (cyclists, anyone?) or Velcro straps thru the GCPA tie downs:

and note I'm not mocking anyone but myself, I'm still struggling to overcome the moral outrage and wiping off Vaseline days later, but I'm just sick of lugging around Hi-Lifts. My reco: order thru an Amazon vendor and use Smile so at least you help your charity with a nice fat purchase!

Why not storing under the rear bench? I have tons of recovery gear there. Low center of gravity, out of sight.. what am I missing?

Oh, the rear seats in your JL fold. Try it, there's levers on top of the seatbacks. The smaller lever folds just the headrest and the larger one folds the seatback itself

You asked what you were missing.....and you're missing something huge. And obvious

That's fair, I have a roof top tent so will not be doing this (and am too tall anyway), but do get your point!

I was doing some cooking in the back of my Jeep while trying to stay out of the rain under the back glass panel. I found that the rain runs down the glass right onto the carpeted panel covering the plastic holder for door screws, etc. So, I installed a rubber seal on the top edge of the glass between hinges to hopefully minimize water intrusion.

It is not quite the ideal shape, but it is what I could find. I haven’t had a chance to test it out yet.
