I'm not sure if my favorite part of the video is where the host is excited about the limited slip and then describes it as a locker, or when the rep declares that his favorite feature of the willy's is a 5" square sticker.

I was surprised to again hear the rep specifically say "Rubicon Shocks" implying that the springs are still the same, and looked like the standard sport fenders etc... so it's basically a sticker package plus some shocks out of the wrong bin.

Not a lot of new info. 18 gallon tank so about the same size as my JKU.

Real question will be when Green Diesel engineering comes up with a PCM to defeat all the emissions crap. the DPF and EGR stuff take the fun out of modern Diesels.

meh. The willys is cool, but its just a "package". The diesel will surely need to have all the bugs worked out, I'd patiently give it a few years to mature a bit.

I believe the JKU holds 22.5 gallons. Hopefully the JLU diesel will hold at least that much.
Probably not. They probably downsized the fuel tank to make room for a def tank. The diesel should get better fuel economy than the gas counterparts so an 18 gallon tank may be able to reach 450 or 500 miles.

Doc... Duh.
Whole lot of absolutely no news. Pricing... later. Towling… later. Fuel economy... later. LOL. The most anticlimactic reveal.

As far as people being upset about the emissions stuff... Yeah. I'll take my engine without smog or cancer plumes. And yes. The difference between gasoline and diesel unfiltered emissions is a health nightmare.

Oh man. I am just gonna put rubi shocks AND springs on my sport s with the no slip differential, and get a nicer sticker that doesn't look like it was designed by a toddler for a toddler. I'll call it "Billys" or wtver. What a joke.

Be careful with that...I was considering the same thing, but I'm scared they will discontinue it. Im just going to get the extended warranty (through geico, not mopar, much less hassle) and hope for the best.
