What antenna mount is that? And are you worried about any interference with the AM/FM antenna?
The mount is a CP-5NMO. The two radios transmit and receive at different enough frequencies that interference isn’t a problem.

When I got home from work today the wife had me all set up for the install....:)

The install is pretty straight forward, good instructions. You have to download them off the computer.... I never thought I’d see the day they didn’t put instructions in the box, but I guess that’s the word we live in now.

You definitely need an extra pair of hands in a couple of the steps. The hardest part of the whole install is mounting the spare tighten lugs, push it against the tire carrier mark where the bracket is, then take the tire back off, tighten bracket, then lift that heavy ass tire again....:whew: .

The older post of this install I read had the third brake light mounted behind the rim, now it’s mounted over the camera housing. The wee little torx screws holding the camera ended up being to short with the brake light bracket mounted so I had to round up some longer ones.

@Moto_21 the carrier weighs 50 lbs. And I’m not sure, but I think this hole looks like a spot for a cb antenna, and there’s a couple threaded holes I think for rotopax or high lift jack bracket and such.

All in all, I’m really happy with the way it turned out, I’ll post after I hit the trail to see if the rattles gone. I’m guessing it is because I used to be able lift the tailgate and recreate the noise , now I can’t......:)

Small item installed this new style fire extinguisher, it is the size of a road flare, starve the fire with gas, lasts longer than a normal 20lb fire extinguisher, weighs almost nothing, last a long time, does not make a mess but it is one time use and thrown away.

Finally got rid of this White interior.
Made a Make shift, Hardtop rig with some D-rings and tie straps.
Prepped and taped off the possible oversrpray areas along with the Velcro that holds the factory headliner.
Just waiting on it to dry to put it all back together!!!
I love how it came out!
Now “Denzel” is marching inside and out!

Upgraded the 2.5” OEM dash and roll bar tweeters to 3.5” plug and play Kicker speakers and also put poly fill behind the 4” woofers in the roll bar. Noticeable improvement for $110 and about a 20 minute job.

I finally managed to get the front LCA bolts off, and the RH skids on. @mikej , I'm not sure if you gave up, but to get them front bolts off, all it took was a spritz of B'laster. Off they go.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003V5JT26/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Let it sit for a few minutes, and...
I had given up. But maybe I'll get some of the B'laster and give it another go. Thanks for that suggestion!

How much torque did you put on the bolts when you put the new ones in place?

RH stated 100 ft-lbs. On the passenger-side, there's a small cover I had to remove to get a 1" socket in there. That yellowish goop at the end of the socket is the B'laster on the washer...wipes right off. It stinks, but smells like...victory.

The passenger-side was much easier since I was able to step on the breaker bar with the full weight of my strapping 150-lbs. Pulling from the driver-side needed enough clearance for a 16" breaker bar. With the goop, a socket wrench should do it.

May The Force be with you. Literally.
