My first Jeep as well....sharing the same experience as you.....It’s a Jeep thing....lolSo now that I've had my doors and top off my 2018 JLUR, I'm noticing the NO SOUND option, fixed it by clicking on the AM button. I've had my doors off for about 2 weeks now and this is the 4th time it has occurred...thought it was just me. It didn't seem to happen before when the doors are on but hope i don't have to mess with fuses.
The other issue with low sound has happened to me with or without doors, restarting the car eventually fixes it but is quite annoying when on long trips. Has only happened 2 or 3 times for the 1.6 years of ownership.
The latest Uconnect issue i'm experiencing is (doors off) the sound appears to be only coming from the passenger side, more specifically, passenger rear? Not sure what this was about but just happened this AM and went away after stopping for groceries and returning home.
Again...this is my first Jeep and hoping this is not what people are referring to when they say "it's a Jeep Thing"...for a $60K Wrangler Rubicon, was hoping to get better quality than this...
