can anyone recommend a good shop in Fort Lauderdale area? I can't wrench myself due to limitations of living in an apartment/ no garage or tools, though I can get tools, I am at a loss towards all of it. yes I know, learning by doing it today.
I have met with a few shops, but still not sure of who I would let touch my rig for anything. I was turned off by some of them and also liked some. I know what I want done, currently saving for it. all help is much welcome and or reviews of any specific shops to avoid or to work with or any specific people I should speak with.
here is a small list of wants:
-Rock Krawler x-factor 2.5 or 3.5 no limits tt lift
-35 or 37 depending on lift above
-snorkel [yep florida]
wheels n tires I know I want km3 bfg, but any other recommendations also appreciated. I like the wheels JP1 has as they just look amazing [also it's in my top choices], however I also know they tend to rust and that is a turn-off. [sorry JP1 they do] you may want to get a backup.
though your rig looks amazing and I read thru your build thread and im super jealous. I will be going out of state to texas for some jeeping with friends and they don't recommend those wheels for any trails near them, but when I make that trip is another world away, so maybe ill do the rhinos as I love the military view of them.
I wave at every wrangler and gladiator, though most never even wave back but sometimes they do look at me directly, which is annoying because they look all confused like trying to figure out who I am, but there are few that do wave and that feels. good.
well any help/ recommendations/ personal reviews all welcome.
