They are great trailers.
With that large, low, flat deck I use it for everything, not just the bikes.

Mine is the larger 2 bike version for the times I could not decide which bike to bring to the mountains.
Have not tried 2 bikes behind the 2 door JL yet, I fear that might be pushing it.

It also can handle a sidecar rig.

I did trailer the bike with the Jeep for the first time last week to coastal Maine from Cape Cod. With the 8 speed trans and the hills, I opted to use manual mode, shifting between 5th, 6th, and 7th. Mostly in 6th though. Towed fine all the way.

I'm a bit of an addict. My first 4x4 was a 91 Dakota with a 318. That little truck could scoot, but my roommate in the barracks had a 91 YJ with a 3" body lift and 31s. I fell in love with Jeeps riding with him, and trying to keep up with my Dakota. Soon after he got out I had to go get my own Jeep. I bought a 99 Sahara. I was in love all over again. I wheeled the snot out of that little TJ. Ended up with short arms and 35s which was a ticking time bomb for the 35 in the back. Being in Texas convinced me that I needed a truck, so I traded my TJ for a 01 Ram. It was at least the off road package that had the "trusses" front axle and 33" tires. But it didn't take long to realize that it was a mistake. So back to the dealership for another TJ, this time I got a 03 X model with the Apex special edition. That just meant it had a hideous hood graphic and orangish knaugehide seats. The baby came soon after, so this one didn't get as much attention. A budget spacer lift and some 32s took me where I wanted though. After that I experimented with a 06 Grand Cherokee. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. I gave it a 2.5" OME lift and ran some skinny 33's on it when the Army sent me to Ft Drum. It handled the snow well enough. Came back to Texas and had to get another 2 dr. So while I was deployed my wife went and got me my 13 Crush Orange JK. Honestly I wish I had kept it. It was much more my style than this JL. I love the JL, but there is a massive difference between a stripped down 2dr, and a fully loaded 4dr Rubicon.

I had a 2007 Honda Civic sedan which i sold to help finance the jeep, i had a Chevy Silverado before that which i still miss occasionally but it had way too many miles on it and the rear end went out.

Previous? 2004 TJ Rubi on 33's. It needed tires, was starting down the path of rust issues, and the rear locker wasn't fully engaging anymore, and if you've ever started down that rabbit hole you know how it goes...i figured the money and time was better spent on a newer Jeep that could better transport my family.

That was not my first Jeep, nor was it my first daily driver, either.

I went from one quirky brand to another. Traded in my ‘18 Subaru Impreza for my’ 19 JL Sport. Is it as economical? Hell No but its way more fun.

I had a legally imported Hilux Surf. 05 purchased used is 09 from a dealer.

My local dealership had 5 on lot in the middle of the "no brakes on Toyota" craze.

Beautiful car. Except nobody will buy it from me in it's 250k state. I retired it to the Caribbean with those tiny import weels.

I got a 4runner, as well. I do love me that car. Same trim just a different engine. 200k and still going.

My last daily driver was a 2017 Edge Sport which I purchased in 2016. Mine was fully loaded and I had quite a few modifications. From the factory it was a 2.7L twin turbo V6 with 315 hp and 350lbs/tq. I had an LMS 93 Agressive tune and mine was 425 hp. In addition I had changed to MRT exhaust. It was a great car and fun to drive, but I wanted a change of pace.

We traded a 2013 Kia Sorento for the Jeep. The Jeep is my daily driver when not in my other toy.
