If I forgot to unmarry before downloaded new firmware did I screw up. Do I need to go back to old firmware, then unmarry, then put on the new firmware? I even forgot what old firmware I was running. Thanks

I’m honestly not sure, you can plug in the Tazer to see if it will allow you to make changes

It all depends on which update. Minor updates don't require unmarrying. The Tazer update page would specify.

Edit: Whatever size you select, you should verify your speedometer accuracy with a free GPS speed app.

Ok figured that out. Next question. I installed 35’s they are actually 34” in true diameter. Do I set the Tazer for what the tire reads or the actual diameter?
For static loaded radius x 2

Need more help.

I had an old version, 11.06 it was working fine. I updated to the 11.1.2. Now I don’t have all the live options. When I start the Jeep and go through the screens I only get these plus 0-30 and winch mode 1. I don’t have any of the other live options. Any thoughts? Looks like Nick removed the contact section on his website to send this info to him. Is he still a vendor in here?

Joe used to have a phone number on his site for issues but I’m guessing that’s gone away since he’s gotten so big he can’t keep up, we might try to PM him here

When I entered the actual diameter of my tire (39") the speedo was off in comparison to a GPS app and a street sign that shows your MPH. When I entered the sidewall size (40") it was dead on.

In a [Banned Site] video Eddie says to enter sidewall size, not true diameter. Seems odd, but worked out for me.

Yeah, I dunno how that would be. My 38" Pats measure around 36-3/8". I put that in as close as I could get to 36.375 and one radar sign said I was going 46 when the digi speedo said 45. A different sign today said 46 when the speedo read 46.

I should try at higher speeds but if I had put in sidewall height of 38" I don't think I'd be very accurate

I unmarried and D/L the new version 11.1.2,
First I used auto D/L and Update...Still shows 11.1.1
Then I manually updated to 11.1.2...Still shows 11.1.1 on the device...

Thoughts

I’ve read that you are supposed to enter the sidewall size, not the actual.

So on my tires this is what I did. Sidewalk reads 35”. Actual tire size measures with a tape measure is 34.25. I set the Tazer right in the middle at 34.65 or something. Whatever that was close to, not at home. By sheer dumb luck the speedo is perfect.

So just a follow-up, after driving past more radar signs w my JLUR w 38's and Tazer programmed for actual static loaded radius x2 of ~36.375" I'm within 1mph up to 60mph (haven't passed any signs at speeds above that)

Assuming these signs are relatively accurate, +/- 1mph at 60 is better than the gubermint requires from the factory last I heard (I should Google that when I have 3 hours to kill)

I just don't see how simply plugging in the stated height is going to be accurate...it flies in the face of common sense, math and physics - seriously.

Otherwise I could just write "100" on a 5 dollar bill and tell you it's worth a hundred. IOW, anything can be labeled as anything but reality is reality.
