Fender protection

I’m ordering the 3M tape for the rear ones but wondering if anyone has put anything on the front ones.

I had both front and rear Xpel done. I have already torn the rear up in 3000 miles. The paint is still good, so it did it's job. But did not hold up. At a $100 per fender, it's too pricey to have redone. I'm not sure what to do next.

I have the full hood, grille, front fenders front/ rear flares, and windshield surround done up in Xpel Ultimate Plus. I'm not a fan of scuffs or rock chips.
