Some fun on the Rubicon. Currently waiting for ARB to release their lockers. Then re-gearing to 4.88’s!

I have heard that the 200mm axle will be first for the locker..so that means those of us with rear 220mm 44’s will be waiting even longer. And it will likely only be 35 spline. So that means new shafts.

That looks good. Do you have the v6 too? If so how did it do with 35's and 37's before gearing? I am trying to do the same thing with my v6 manual.

Yep v6. It did ok with the 35’s both on and off road. Off road with the manual I needed to keep more momentum on the steeper obstacles.

Never had 37’s without the 5.13’s.

Yours a sport?

Yep Sport v6 Manual with 3.45's, 44 rear axle etc... , I am interested in going the same route you went on yours. I bought it 4 weeks ago and can't stand the stock look/pizza cutters. How do you like the 5.13's with the manual? With the stock gear ratio 5 and 6th were almost the same, worthless. With 3.45's the factory trans gear ratios are disappointing, hoping gears makes this better.

Tires and JCR sliders. I’ll get some day shots.

Also, a 35” tire does not fit with stock wheels on the spare tire carrier. It will rub the bumper a lot.

Since I plan to replace the bumper I went ahead and did some “custom” modifications to it. I just chopped a bunch off and drilled holes in the bottom for water drainage. I’ll post some pics tomorrow.

I forgot to ask, does it still fit in the garage with 37's?

Good comparison of the UD 44 vs stock 44. This picture I got from someone I talk to on Instagram. Not sure if he’s on here.

The C’s and brackets are a massive difference. Then you can see the center sections increased material even with the way the picture is set up.

So I actually have a set of 35’s now..and 37’s. I put these Manx 398’s on the 37’s to see how they looked. Almost bought these the first time but went with the method 701’s...which the 35’s have now.

Fun side by side of a 35x12.50 ko2 and stt pro 37x12.50. It’s nearly 3 inches!
Both on wheels with exact same specs

Added some crossbars that mount under the soft top. In this case my soft top is entirely off and my bikini top still mostly fits under. Crossbars are made by exposed racks. Really awesome stuff. Click in mounts allow me to mount to the tent in 30 seconds.

So I threw on a front runner tent and added the front runner tailgate table. Super easy install

Like you have done to your rig!
How has the manual gear box been on the trails?
Your running 37's with 5.13 gears?
Do you like that setup?

Thanks!

Manual has been great on the trail. With the Rubicon transfer case and 5.13’s I don’t even think about the clutch.

Yep 37’s with 5.13’s
